Mojo had FIP. We had to put him to sleep. That's pretty much all I have to say about that right now. It's just too painful. We loved him a lot, and we miss him desperately.
Goodbye, Mojo. We love you. We'll love you forever.

I'm very sorry you lost your beloved pet.
Thank you. I've had so much support in this. It really helps, especially when the heart wants so much to have hope while the mind says sorry, there's no chance, this must end.
Some good friends of mine had to make a similar decision recently. I know I'm not alone, that we're not being singled out by Fate or that we must be doing something wrong to have this happen. Again, it's the heart that wants to blame, to find a cause, to hope that we won't have to go through this again. The wisdom of others reminds me that to love anything, even life itself, is to lose, and that the best choice is to love and then lose rather than to not love at all.

I am so very sorry to hear about Mojo.
Please keep in mind that through you, he received the very best care and attention he most likely had ever experienced and was certainly loved more
than if he had stayed at the shelter. If you had not taken him into your home and into your hearts, his illness may have gone unnoticed for much longer until he was in great pain or worse. You took the time to show him love and how much you cared. By making the right, though very difficult decision, you gave him the comfort and rest his body demanded. Such heroic acts never go unrewarded.
You all are in our thoughts and Mojo will not be forgotten. Peace be with you.
If I have to go, I go surrounded by Love, to Love.
I'm so sorry about Mojo, but I am so very glad he spent the last few weeks of his life surrounded by such love and devotion. You are such good people. My thoughts are with you all.
Thank you everyone for your sympathy. We're hanging in there.
Oh, man. I was really hoping Mojo would make it. I'm so sorry. Loss of a furry loved one is never easy. At least he went peacefully surrounded by love instead of in fear or violence.
