I think our dear friend Rory has scored a knockout punch! I, for one, am impressed (humbled, groveling and whining "I am not worthy," etc.), and I haven't even read it!
(Though if it's anything like his Chiron website...)
I think it's even better than the Chiron website because he gets to complete his thoughts and walk the reader through using more than just words. He has some powerful images in that book (though it's far from a picture book) and some tables and sidebars that help illustrate what he's talking about.
It's now ranked at 8,378 in Books, and 8 in Violence in Society and 9 in Individual Sports--Martial Arts. Not exactly a NY Times best seller, but I'm darned proud of Rory's accomplishment!! I'm very glad people like the book and that it's helpful to them. The many five and four star ratings are humbling. Thank you to all the folks who reviewed the book, btw. Which reminds me, I have some books and movies to review on Amazon ...
